Police Rescue Mother, Children, Nab Father With Firearm In FCT

The Federal Capital Police (FCT) Police Command has rescued a parent with her 8 and 3 years aged children aft they were forced retired of their location alongside her 9-month-old babe by the husband.

Police said their father, a 45-year-old Mr. David Tersoo, a contractor with past of home maltreatment was arrested with substance suspected to beryllium illicit drugs.

Tersoo had reportedly locked himself down a bulletproof doorway portion armed, aft constabulary tried to apprehension him for home violence.

According to the FCT Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, the Command received a distress telephone reporting a lawsuit of home battle connected September 9, 2025.

Adeh said the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Adewale Ajao promptly deployed the DPO Mpape Division and operatives of the Command’s Gender Unit to the country successful collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs.

“The children were rescued, 1 of them recovered with disposable bruises. Their parent was aboriginal traced and placed successful protective custody with her children.
