The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Professor Charles Anosike, has called for accrued enactment crossed sectors to boost outgo betterment and fortify the agency’s work delivery.
Speaking astatine the 2025 Stakeholders’ Forum themed “Early Warnings: Raising Awareness connected Climate Risks and Promoting Early Action”, Anosike stressed that sustaining NiMet’s operations required accordant investment.

Anosike highlighted the agency’s achievements, including the deployment of the Electronic Flight Folder (e-Flight Folder) to regenerate manually prepared and collected formation folders, and the caller certification of Enugu Airport to ISO standards, bringing the full fig of ISO-certified airports to five.
He besides emphasised the value of partnerships and collaborations successful enhancing the agency’s services, citing examples of partnerships with stakeholders specified arsenic MTN Nigeria, and the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
