Nigerian-American rising star Vyk Mila has conscionable released his boldest enactment yet: SURAH 93—a raw, spiritual, and street-rooted Afro-Fusion task that reflects his travel from Lagos to America and back.
Fresh from an electric show astatine Felabration, Vyk Mila’s EP tells a communicative of rebirth. Inspired by the 93rd section of the Qur’an (a connection of airy aft darkness), the task blends Afrobeat, drill, and ghetto gospel.
“This is my reconnection with my source, sound, and maker,” says Mila. With accumulation from Puffy Tee (the genius down ‘Yahooze’), Shocker Beats (the Ghetto King), Professional GOGOGO, Zest, Chilli Ace and Fret.
