‘A Runaway DJ’- Lai Mohammed Mocks DJ Switch

The minister while addressing the media on the occasion of the first anniversary of the EndSARS protest, described DJ Switch as ‘Run-away DJ’.

DJ Switch made news after sharing live feeds from the Lekki tollgates after the military stormed the venue of the protest. She insisted that soldiers fired live bullets at protesters on October 20, 2020.

At his press briefing, the minister accused DJ Switch of joining those who lied against security operatives. Although he did not mention her name specifically, it was clear that he was referring to her.

“The testimony of ballistic experts before the Judicial Panel of Inquiry in Lagos contradicts the tales by the moonlight by Amnesty International, CNN, a runaway DJ and their ilk.

With the preponderance of evidence against any massacre at the Lekki Toll Gate on Oct. 20th 2020, we are once again reiterating what we said one year ago, that: The military did not shoot at protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate on Oct. 20th 2020, and there was no massacre at the toll gate.

The only ‘massacre’ recorded was in the social media, hence there were neither bodies nor blood. Amnesty International, CNN, a runaway DJ and others like them should apologize for misleading the world that there was a massacre at the Lekki Toll Gate and for portraying the Nigerian military, police and other security agencies in bad light.â€

#EndSars: DJ Switch Presents Her Story On Lekki Shooting With International Community

A few days to the remembrance day of the #LekkiShooting, 20th October 2020, DJ Switch shares her story with the international community.

The #EndSARS protest in Nigeria was one the government had never seen before. Nigerian youths protested against the deadly police unit SARS.

The protest lasted for several days, into weeks, and finally, the federal government succumbed to pressure and scrapped the group.

They later changed the name to SWAT.

However, youths went on to protest against bad governance from elected persons in office. The government would have non of that and will later send armed soldiers to disperse protesters.

That night was the day the Nigerian flag was smeared with blood. Blood of young Nigerians who were demanding a better country, better standard of living, jobs, hospitals, schools etc.

Armed soldiers shot and killed young Nigerians. Several ‘John Doe’s’ at the hospitals but the government would blatantly deny.

‘I’ve Been Locked Up In A House For Months,’ DJ Switch Cries Out

Nigerian female disc jockey, DJ Switch has opened up on getting asylum in Canada following the Lekki Massacre.

Information Nigeria recalls that DJ Switch on 20th October 2020, when the Nigerian army allegedly shot at EndSars protesters, streamed the incident on her Instagram live session.

Since the incident, the Nigerian government sought DJ Switch‘s arrest, stating the Instagram live session was photoshopped, and the Lekki massacre never happened.

However, a few months later, there were speculations that DJ Switch got asylum in Canada and spoke to some people about the Lekki Massacre.

Refuting the speculation, Dj Switch, in a post shared on her Instagram page, says contrarily to the rumours she never moved to Canada.

DJ Switch added that she is leaving the county for the first time since last year as she has been locked up in a house for months.
